# Edie Magda Lehnsherr (I-am-being)

Instance of Edie from the setting *[Thing](https://glowficwiki.noblejury.com/books/miscellaneous-settings/page/thing)*. Edie is infected with Thing cells but successfully manages to win control of her body and identity from the alien, then deliberately infects her sister on the grounds that *she* would never try to overwrite Emily's identity in something of an inoculation.

Appearances:
[Forsaken Expanse](https://glowfic.com/posts/1713) - Eldritch Yvette lands on not entirely un-eldritch Edie and Emily while the latter are still in Antarctica recovering from their change of species and the deaths of the rest of the human population of the base.
