# Wen Ying (crouching-bunny-hidden-goose)

[**Wen Ying**](https://www.glowfic.com/characters/10710) is an instance of MaggieoftheOwl's Wei Ying template.

After Cangse-sanren and Wei Changze died defending Dafan village from the soul-eating goddess, their daughter was adopted as [Wen Qing](https://glowficwiki.noblejury.com/books/argona/page/wen-qing-%28withinmyhome%29) and [Wen Ning's](https://glowficwiki.noblejury.com/books/argona/page/wen-ning-%28pureheart%29) middle sibling. Conveniently, all of their names rhyme. Wen Ying is just as devoted to her adopted siblings as Wei Yings generally are to the standard Jiang set. She's still a Wei Ying, though, and devoted enough to justice to observe that Wen Ruohan Must Go.

#### Relationships

- **Lan Zhan** (Wife)
    - [Lan Zhan (ten-miles-of-spring)](https://glowficwiki.noblejury.com/books/argona/page/lan-zhan-%28ten-miles-of-spring%29)

        - Lan Zhan is having a *much* better time being a Sect Leader's wife than her mother ever did.
- **Wen Qing** (Older Sister)
    - Has actually managed to bully Wen Ying into something which serves the basic function of a self-preservation instinct.
- **Wen Ning** (Younger Brother)
    - Precious cinnamon roll didi.
- **Wen Chao** (Worst Distant Cousin Ever)
- **Wen Xu** (Second-Worst Distant Cousin Ever)
- **Xue Yang** (Antagonistic Quasi-Coworker)
    - Wen Ruohan made them work together sometimes.
    - He likes fucking with her, she would like him to just die please
- **Mianmian** (Close platonic friend)
- **Jiang Yanli** (Close platonic friend)
    - Not Wen Ying's shijie, but Wen Ying still quickly learned to appreciate her and her soup.
- **Granny Wen** (Grandmother)
    - Wen Ying doesn't particularly consider her siblings' dead parents to be her own, having never met them, but she and Granny Wen have adopted each other wholeheartedly.

#### Appearances

**[talk less, smile more](https://glowfic.com/posts/4153)** - Cloud Recesses reacts very differently to someone who shows up with the Wen party than with the Jiang party. And then things escalate. [\[Wiki\]](https://glowficwiki.noblejury.com/books/golden-core/page/talk-less-smile-more)

#### Trivia

Due to having grown up in Qishan instead of Yunmeng, Wen Ying has the lowest spice tolerance currently on record for a Wei Ying. This does not mean her spice preferences are safe for ordinary human beings.
