==History==
Phli was born and raised in Ohio, but moved to Connecticut for school. While studying sports medicine at Yale, he met [[Emma Anderson|Emma Miller]], whom he eventually married. After the wedding, Emma decided to extricate herself from the life of a Watcher and found herself a job in the emergency room in [[Sunnydale]]; thus, they moved to California, and Phil found a job as a trainer at a local gym. They have since been drawn back into the supernatural world by Emma's chance encounter with the [[:Category:Slayer|Slayer]], [[Isabella Swan (Sunday)|Bella Swan]], and Phil has been helping Bella's Watcher [[Tamara Reed (Sunday)|Tamara]] teach her self defense.

==Abilities==
Phil is aware of the supernatural world courtesy of his wife, but has no supernatural abilities of his own. As a personal trainer, he is familiar with various forms of martial arts and self defense, with an emphasis on traditional boxing.
