Lian was originally planned to be the Chainsaw in the Circle universe, but ceased to exist after the character reshuffling that took place when Alicorn and Kappa rebooted Circle.[1] Lian was an ambient wood mage living in Discipline in the Winding Circle temple in Emelan, along with Stormy, Rook, Sedge, Niva (originally Tony), Serahila (originally Sherlock), and Mercy. He has been replaced by Elyth, a Libby.
