Appearance
In her natural sphinx form, Bella has the head and torso of her human facecast of Kristen Stewart, the body and tail of a lion, and bird wings.
History
Background
Bella was born on September 13th, 1987 to Charles "Charlie" Swan and Renée Higgenbotham in Forks, Washington. Her parents divorced when she was a baby, whereupon Bella moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her mother. On January 9, 2005, her mother was killed in a car accident and she moved back to Forks to live with her father.[1]
Forks
Once Bella starts school in Forks, she befriends Darren and Savannah Sanders and Angela ??.[2] One day not long after, Bella spots a woman in the store who looks like her mother; she picks up a necklace the woman drops, but then cannot find her to return it. In the woods later that afternoon, Bella passes out and turns into a sphinx.[3]
Powers
As a sphinx, Bella can do sphinx things. She is also a competent runecaster.
Errata
In ghost Renée dies in January 2005 and her obituary mentions "her daughter Isabella (16)". Since Bells are born in 1987, Bella should have been 17 at the time.
