# Timeline of Notable Community History

This page is a work in progress, especially as history continues to happen, documentation continues to be found, and the in-retrospect notability of events likely shifts. Still, this is an effort to note and document major community moments.

##### **Coining of "Glowfic"**

The term "glowfic" was coined by Lambda (Sonata) in July 2014 to refer to the extant glowfic continuities in response to Tulip creating a TVTropes page for them. ([reference](http://alicorn.elcenia.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=173)) The term was fairly quickly adopted by community members. It was noted in an earlier post that "glowy RP fiction" was a term already in use, due to the existing continuities' mostly light/ glowing themed names.

##### **Creation of the TVTropes Page**

The [TVTropes page](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Roleplay/Glowfic) was created in August 2014 by Tulip. ([reference](http://alicorn.elcenia.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=173&sid=ff1484bf79f2d7b1f025394f92781bef&start=10#p4465))
