</div>Rahadoum, instead of having been an atheist state for thousands and thousands of years, is another recent breakaway state from [Cheliax](https://glowficwiki.noblejury.com/books/dungeons-and-dragons/page/cheliax) during the Chelish Civil War (the anti-theism makes more sense when there was briefly an [*Asmodean*](https://glowficwiki.noblejury.com/books/dungeons-and-dragons/page/asmodeus) government in power). [Cheliax](https://glowficwiki.noblejury.com/books/dungeons-and-dragons/page/cheliax) intends to try to retake it; Rahadoum for its part wants to retake the province of Kharijite but doesn’t realistically have the forces to do this.
